Famous town of Shamrock Texas, known to truckers everywhere for speed cops. You been up in the pan handle lately or is that an archival photo?

Happy trails compadre
I hope you are well

Next year maybe will all get together for passover supper at the Shamrock Cafe.

Wouldn't that be loverly.

Like the Parrish sculpture a lot.
thanks

Shamrock Cafe reminds me of, "Manufactured Landscapes".

preface: all photos by cecil.

hi, judih... indeed, a whole lotta culture goin' on! sometimes way to much to take in at once, eh? has the culture shock this year in T-town?

g'day, ST... hope all is good with you, amigo. this Shamrock Cafe is on hiway 62/180, east of Phar Lepht and around 10-15 miles (?) passed the checkpoint... and the shot was taken the same day we were on our 'day trip' (re: visuals). the building had to have been an old one as the old adobe blocks could clearly be seen among the rubble, which is the main bldg as the photo shows. we hadn't been out that direction in many, many moons, but certainly enjoyed the ride and the views.

TY, wireman... there is wisdom in the deserts of the world... those silent places where one can see forever without wonder. ;)

DtD, old man! fancy seein' you around these parts. I know not what 'manufactured landscapes' refers to but it does give a hint of Hollywood and their ability for recreation for creative purposes... am I close? :)

my analogic mind says that the sculpture reminds me to the painted silos of the MACRO here by the river, that I already saw Bronco Toro and that we have here Hard Rocks but not Shamrocks...! Beautiful sky in the last photo!! :D

gracias for the stream & saludos, Cecil!!!

thx, V... sorry about the repeat of Bronco Toro. of all the pics i have, why i chose a repeat is peculiar. but i have no excuse that would make any sense.

here's the latest Bronco Toro...

note the realism with the toro's 'equipment'... :)

It's all good...keep those "postcards from the edge" coming... I also enjoy your "Sunday Stream" pieces as you may already know.

Thx, Steve. With my mate and I doing our 'shows' each weekend, including Sundays, makes it difficult to keep up with the Streams, hence the photos from time to time to 'keep in touch.'

I did manage to write a Stream for this Sunday as SooZen is out of town and I chose to take a weekend off from the circuit.
