Streamless Sunday

Post by Artguy » January 30th, 2005, 6:05 pm

Without flow or glow I trudge on through the day before slavery ensues...with fruit of algave and salt of the the worm I dream of a stream with clear essence flowing crashing against ancient rock ....

I second the notion
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

meeting for silence

silent sundays

old men are not as important for the survival of children as old women.

I check in here every sunday because I just can't bring myself to go to Quacker meetings any more that is The Religious Society Of Ducks. The Bear's stepfather who is a very dedicated Sunday church goer. That is where he meets his wives. The last two were dieing of cancer when he married them. A very compassionate guy, and it is suprising how well he has done financialy but that probably has nothing todo with it.
I dont go to quaker meeting because I just can't stand to be around Quaker women anymore. They are just too serene for me. I don't want to go there as if I am looking for a date. But that would be the truth. I don't want to go looking for love anywhere, especialy in religion. If the spirit of truth moves me to go there I will have to go, I know that but for nowo I come here for my silent sunday fix.

in the solitude of strangers
meanwhile, back in the phar lepht, sunday's still brewing.
there's hope....
my uncle Abe, I used to carry his dog his dogs for good luck, going over those ten thousand foot hills out in G-d's country, they had a little notch in the end so when you got killed they could put the tag in your mouth and close your jaws on it for ID purposes. It had a capitol H other soldiers had P for protestant or C for catholic etc.
Uncle abe would tell me "Live in Hope and Die in Despair"
I hope the coffe is brewing and soozen is rising.
I am starting my own personal slacker religion, I live in hope from sunday to sunday, i will worry abut dieing when I die, just like the animal that I am. Sometimes I wish I had the amygdala of a cat, they never despair.

I hope you are all well.

ST...I am fine and dandy....am working on some new art projects and haven't had much to say, so...I don't. Am leaving town Wednesday for Tucson and a bead buying trip with friends. No need to worry but thank you for thinking of me...
