Sunday Stream (25) - Resurrection

Today the Christian world celebrates Easter - the day of the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. This year it falls one week after the Spring Equinox, the day the Sun enters the astrological first house of Aries, the blast of energy signaling new life.
Spring is traditionally the time of rebirth, the time all plants and animals come back to life... renewing their strength and viewing all things anew... joining the procession that has always been the eternal cycle of Life.
For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, our winter is coming to a close. Hopefully we will have our personal renewal... the awakening from our 'death'... our respite from the previous cycle of energy that flowered one year ago.
In keeping with the spirit of Spring, the time of rare blooms, renewal, reproduction and rebirth, I'd like to share these fresh shots of the flowers that have opened in Phar Lepht around our own yard, where plants have arisen from their 'winter death' -
Iris, Iris... you make the eye full with your beauty.
Banks Rose... you never fail to overwhelm the spring with your abundance of beauty.
Lilac, O! Lilac... your fragrance awakens the kundalini like no other.
Forgive me, old friend, for I have forgotten your name, but thankfully you have not been remiss with your sweet charms.
Our own greatest fragrance is the Peace within
... may we release it freely unto our world.
