Sunday Stream (S8 - 288) - Calm Yourself

Post by mtmynd » October 29th, 2017, 5:07 pm

Calm your Self
_______||______

The fear that you are experiencing is based upon you not knowing... and nobody else knows what will happen, either, not even the politicians.

The world has survived many wars before, and shall survive any that may come.

All of what may be is in the 'hands of nature', and not mankind... we are not that powerful, only in our own little heads.

Seek peace for your self thru prayer or meditation... it lies waiting for you.

Don't allow the media to control your life thru their repeated negative messages that alarm you or your loved ones. Remind yourself of that.

The unknown is scary, but it is also exciting. What changes are in store for the world? Change, like storms, often times brings a freshness to the world. We all need to be 'slapped up side of the head' once in awhile to knock some sense in ourselves, and take us out of our slumber... we can choose to judge the changes, but they will happen irregardless.

For your benefit go with the flow... it's best for your Self and those around you. Life does have a beautiful side that calms the soul.

oh brother
the things we do for love
zen and the art of tax return preperation
what the fuck it is only money
it is a YMYL
your money or your life situation
I think about that zen motor cycle book a lot when I am working
crazy jack was always an excitable boy
just a matter of time I figure before the earth crashes into the sun
sometimes I think of a passing asteroid come slamming down
I don't even fear death so much as I am just digging being alive and lusting for more life
in the meantime it is the day to day mundane madness
I deal with
I am just a prisoner of love

existential threats are music to my ears
makes me want to rock and roll all night long

Kurt Vonnegut had he lived long enough would have gotten round to writing that Anti-Glacier Novel
pardon ramble please
thank s for writing

always grateful when you check in
gives me a opportunity to check in
and check the condition of my condition
I got two days a week to calm myself
Five days a week I work eight days a week
because I am still a kid giving it all away
always been crazy
maybe not crazy
but not right
kind of autistic
my friends tolerate my hysterical moods
calm myself with whiskey and tea on those two days a week
Wenesday and Sundays I ride my bike and scribble on studio eight
I get up in the morning slaving for bread sir
so that every mouth can be fed -- poor me Israelites

A book that had a calming effect on me,
Chapter Two
The Terror of Death.
...The result was the emergence of a man as we know him: a hyperanxious animal who constantly invents reasons for anxiety even where he has none. --The Denial Of Death.

To the memory of my beloved parents, who
unwittingly gave me — among many other
things — the most paradoxical gift of all:
a confusion about heroism.
