Sunday Stream (S8-295) :: Billionaires & Millionaires in the U.S.

The Millionaires and Billionaires in the U.S. (facts from Forbes)

In the U.S., there are 607 BILLIONAIRES, up from 586 last year and 404 in 2010, and 14 of the world's 20 richest are from the U.S..

Is there any doubt in our minds WHY these people HATE socialism?

How about America's MILLIONAIRES? About 5.8 percent of the U.S. population — 7.2 million households — are millionaires, as of Sep 11, 2018.

Is there any doubt in our minds WHY these people HATE socialism?

I think it's fair that at least a large majority of Americans look at this and wonder why in the world does so much of our population is doing literally without… anything… homeless, hungry, sick in so many ways. These numbers are not easily computed due to their situations but be assured there are more people in this situation than there are millionaires and billionaires.

Those that have jobs, the “working poor”, is but yet another level of poverty that's running amuck throughout our Nation of some 328+ Million people, (the 3rd most populated country in the world).

But yet the enormous amount of wealth right here in our own country acts as if “I've earned my money! Why should I share with those who have nothing?” Is this Greed or Reasoning..? Certainly it's largely greed that develops this attitude towards the “have nots”. When wealth surrounds those who have it, they have no idea what the poor and have nots go through in life. So many of these people have long given up looking for work, begging for spare change, or even resorting to theft like stealing a loaf of bread to feed both themselves and their families.

That really sounds like the times of Charles Dickens era of “A Tale of Two Cities” before the French Revolution. It would be senseless and even a useless endeavor to wage war simply to better yourself and your family. All it would take is a reasonable taxation on the wealthiest, i.e. millionaires and billionaires, who have certainly taken advantage of our country to accumulate such obscene worth while our own citizens are suffering.

THAT my friends is exactly why that word, “SOCIALISM” is popping up more and more as of late. Like I've said “socialism is a scare word for the wealthiest who feel they deserve super wealth… the life of luxury.” Think! The wealthiest have all they possibly need regarding wealth and what it brings them. Their homes (yes, plural) are paid off, their taxes are reduced to sometimes ZERO by paying off over-paid accountants. Other than their utilities and food bills (providing they eat at home), what is left to spend it on? They DO NOT want to buy anything that WON'T give them a return for their money. Gawd forbid if their competition makes more than them! That may produce a war! The battle for the title of the richest is very real for o! so many of these indulgent people. It comes with the amazing wealth that is horded… but for what?

These same overly-wealthy people will fight tooth-and-nail to keep as much of their money as they can. Sure they'll spend lavishly on somethings they may like… and if it can be sold for much more than they paid for it! But ask them to pay their government more in taxes…!! You've got to be kidding!!

The way the majority of these people actually dislike and even some HATE the government! The weaker the government is the stronger the wealthiest become. (remember DJT's tax cuts for the wealthy). They don't need tax cuts. None of them have a need for more and more money. They'd just as soon see our Government Treasury go bankrupt… and they are trying their damnedest to get than to happen. You see what they will get out of a broken down gov't – a chance to buy the National Parks, to purchase everything a government has to keep afloat. Not a penny for “SOCIAL WORKS”… gawd NO!! We the People will no longer have a say-so… government is closed. They will fight tooth and nail for who can afford to overtake the government and all its properties. Wow! They can very soon, the smartest and most wicked of them, can BE any kind of Government they want to be. Why?

Why would anyone want so much… more than they ever had and more than they could ever use? It's that same old story history so very well knows – POWER! That is the ULTIMATE GOAL of greed.

It matters not that the poorest, the sickest, the weakest cannot defend themselves… no! They don't even want to know anyone in that condition… they might catch the dis-ease the majority have. Build barriers around their ill-gained properties! Keep the needy away!! Those without are too real to believe, and so they turn their backs on the neediest. When one reaches their GOAL of the wealthiest, is not because they did honestly and mercifully… nope! Their motto is MONEY is GOD. So in that belief system, being very, very wealthy is deserved because a God gave them all this POWER.

Dangerous belief that causes so very many problems in our world. To mistake wealth as a gift for the richest from their God, instead of wealth as tool for We the People is blindness at it's most damaging. Hence the revolutions begin… ignoring the neediest is kindling for revolution. We the People are what will rebuild the Nation that has lost it's path because that path led to disaster… the Belief that Wealth is Godliness for those that attain wealth for THEMSELVES. A world that loses it's compassion and love, loses it's direction that leads to destruction… needless destruction simple because of GREED of a few.

[note: Socialism need not be an economic answer for our country, but I feel strongly it should apply to our Governments, i.e. national, state, county. No matter the economic system there is that system will always be necessary for our Governments to do business, the business of the country includes our schools/colleges; defenses, i.e. Military, National Guard, Police, etc.; Firefighters; Street/Highway upkeeps and enlargements, etc; Libraries; all Utility Needs, incl water, heat, air. You may agree that all these on the list ARE already Socialist in practice]

Even the19th Century Mormons had (public sector) social safety net systems. Then Ayn Rand happened. The worship of Greed as the one true morality. The Porn of Wealth, its promise dangled like a hunk of cheese in front of the proverbial hamster on a wheel. Crumbs from the Table. Tinkle-down theories of Supply Side Taskmasters... Like any phenomenon (or organism on the earth, taking on a life of its own, if you will), there was some benefit to all of it, some truth, but only SOME... As always, balance should eventually restore itself...

Ayn Rand happened because there was an audience waiting in the shadows for someone to speak for them...

"they" didn't have the words themselves, the expressions, the philosophy of it...

Absolutely! Balance is not a human desire, not something "we" have control over....

BALANCE is the magic of Nature, the ultimate controller of all THINGS and STUFF.
