Sunday Stream (44) ~ Being of Nothingness

Post by mtmynd » August 21st, 2005, 1:03 pm

"Among the great things are to be found among us, the Being of Nothingness is the greatest." Leonardo De Vinci

Where is the path? How do I find this being of nothingness?

The path is your self. You need not wander, but only wonder for to wonder is to imagine, and there is 'no thing' more remarkable than imagining. From the fertility of thought springs the seeds of creative possiblilties nourished by the desire for sharing.

Leonardo was a master gardener. He tended the Garden of Imagination with his Being of Nothingness and possibilities gave birth to Knowing.

Being of Nothingness opens all our doors and windows. Inviting the world in and becoming the world out-side mind we are connected - indivisible.

Nothingness is without ego, beyond mind, where doubt is erased, questions become answers and being is fulfilled. Clarity of existence provides an endless view of All Things - No Thing... being One.

What provides for Life but the Light... the original One, the eternal flame of existence... all others are simply bulbs attempting dupication by expending their energy to defeat the darkness. But without the darkness Light could not be seen. Without the Light there would be no darkness to be seen.

We humans live within dualities, and within the duality we race from side to side in a frentic move to maintain balance. But life is always in balance, it is mind that is not. Duality must exist to provide a continuum for all life, not simply our ego life. There is more to I than Me.

This plane of existence that we live with is our planet of evolution. We are spirits inhabiting the Body of Duality seeking to bring the two together with mind. But mind can never conclude that the two are always together - the Endless Play of Yin and Yang is both the seer and the looker, each giving and each receiving, each in the union of creation - Spirit and Body in perfect balance.

Draw from the Whole well and drink deeply from from its coolness. Create your imagination with hands of wonder re-discovering the fruits of possibilities within the Garden of Giving to those Beings of Nothingness - at one with pure consciousness.

""It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." (Matthew 19:24)

A man rich of mind has as much chance of attaining No Thing as a camel passing thru the eye of a needle.

dreaming of da vinci only yesterday - it's time to resurrect a spirit of infinite attainment blessed in roots of nothingness

"God"--cosmic spiritual power and wisdom-- is not found in earthquakes, hurricanes or rushing fire in I Kings:19. Elijah, the great prophet, hears instead "a still, small voice . . .":

11 And he said, "Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD." And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and broke in pieces the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake; 12 and after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice.

"Non-being" can be the most powerful and mysterious form of Being.

Thanks for the non-sermon, mtmynd . . .

equilibrium.... the sum of all forces equals zero.

Thx, Cecil.

Judih - interesting... dreaming of Leonardo, eh? What dreams those must've been!! Yes, it IS time to resurrect... whether one or all, let us do it. Ahhh... de-Light-full  Thanks for your reply...

Z - indeed, non-being is most powerful. the the winds and earthquakes pale to the nothingness in the most subtle of exquisite dramas. Thanx, friend, for your kind reply.

mnaz - glad I engineered that just so... Thank YOU for stopping in. Cheers!

Dear cecil, tuned in looking for some syncronicity, strange sunday. Now there is a strange construct for me. One day of the week different from any other day of the week...
A freind of mine from the Nashiville quaker meeting a very wealthy young man. Nothing wrong with that but he went to great pains to explain to me that the eye of a needle was misunderstood. I forgot how he said it but it came down that that eye is a hell of lot bigger than we think it is.
elRod ... that rich man could very easily be lost in his own hell, too... the wheels of duality keep turning in opposite directions wearing down both mind and soul. thanks, amigo.
I wonder am I rich in mind, and I lost in hell, and every time that wheel goes round, I am bound to cover a little more ground.

Sunrise if phar lepht. another day in paradise.

Being in nothingness is exactly how my state of being is at this moment. Clicking together Cecil, top of a hill rolling down until I come to the next mountain to climb. Up and down, I sit in the eye of the storm. Waiting for the next wind to catch me. livin small, trying to live small,

if judih don't mind
mind en route
in no particular rush
spirit caught by any old wind

modest modicums of momentum
downhill humbly acknowledged
livin small, invisible footprints in the sand
i been leaving too many foot prints.
