Ignorance breeds fear</center>
When we are ignorant of things, ignorant of happenings, of circumstances.. when we disallow the new to enter into our lives it creates a sense of fear within us. How far we let this fear take over us is dependent upon us. Initial levels of fear are survival instincts - we run from the falling rock above us, we paddle madly to avoid drowning, we run for cover from a violent storm, but if we can't confront our fears, when we will not accept differences that may make us uncomfortably fearful, this level of fear can become destructive - killing that which we don't understand, destroying that which somehow threatens our indoctrinations - these types of fear can destroy our trust towards others.

<center>Fear destroys trust </center>
When fear destroys our trust we have lost a great deal. Without a feeling of trust we don't feel safe. Vulnerable to both reality and the imagined, the loss of trust weakens us. We put up higher and thicker walls to isolate us. But this isolation is really 'ice-o-lation' - turning us into cold beings that have no warmth for others.

<center>Trust strengthens faith</center>
If we allow our trust to guide us this requires listening to our instinctual nature over our mental imaginings. Our instinct, that little voice within us... our Jiminy Cricket, our guardian angel, whatever we name it, is always there to protect and guide us, if we have trust. This trust, in turn, strengthens our faith which is genrally defined as, "Confident belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing. A belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence," versus a theological defined faith.

<center>Faith nourishes peace</center>
With our sense of trust regained we notice a feeling of peacefulness comes over us. No longer are there the annoying contradictions... the constant questions of our mind judging everything we do or think. Our clarity is not dependent upon mind, but rather with 'empty mind' we find the inner peace that dwells within us at all times. It is up to us to accept it.

<center>Peace builds wisdom</center>
Peace, the more of it we have, the more wisdom we attain. Each thread of peace weaves the blanket of wisdom to give us "the ability to discern or judge what is true, right, or lasting; insight."

<center> Wisdom never ignores</center>
When we achieve full insight of life we no longer ignore. It's impossible. Ignorance evaporates into the ethers. We are attuned to all. Everything is important, everything is necessary, everything is as it should be - our being becomes one with all life.
<center>(The cycle completes itself...)</center>

Anniversary Thanks</center>
On October 3, 2004, I posted my first Sunday Stream on Studio 8.

This is my 52nd Sunday Stream (two Sundays off) and I'd like to thank Doreen for giving me a space to do my thing. As some of you know, I posted Sunday Streams for a long time over on the 'old litkicks', and when his format changed I had no place to continue streaming until Dor' invited me to have my own column.

I don't know for certain how many Sunday Streams I have cyber-published, but I can safely say it would be well-over 200 - a lot of streaming that wouldn't have been written if it weren't for the encouragement of visits and responses from so many wonderful people like youselves. Thanks to youse guys!

And thank you kindly, Ms. Peri, for the super gift you've given me. Please accept this -

Arcadia - Muchisimas gracias, amiga! Tiene un dia buena...

No, K&D, I'm not what I'd call 'religious'... too much Catholicism in high school (went to a Jesuit, all boys high school :( ) But I do consider myself 'spiritual'...

Faith is not an exclusive word only for the religious... have faith in that! I have faith that you will.

I must echo artguy, in that I have absolute faith in your streams too.
This one is especially refreshing.

I used to trust instantly, which most times ended up with me in acute mistrust, fear, and or loathing.

Time takes time.
This is one of my favoritie sayings.
Much trust, faith and wisdom has sprouted thanks to those three little words........

Great stream as usual Cec...

Having never met you and spent time together, Cecil, I can nevertheless venture that you are a kind person, in the original sense of that word.

You have the imagination to see from another's point of view.

That rather divine faculty among some persons no doubt led to the writing and sharing of the golden rule.

Happy anniversary!

In the beginning, I was ignorant and therefore afraid that you might not want to post your Streams here at Studio Eight but I trusted you to change your mind because I had so much faith in your writing and now that you have been posting your Streams here for a year, I have a calm sense of peace since each of your Streams holds much wisdom, which is something I will never be able to ignore!

Thank you for being here, Cecil! Your Sunday Streams have been an important part of my life for several years and I am honored to have Studio Eight host them!

And thank you so much for the lovely flowers.

Cecil,

Ya big dummy!

you do this every week for FREE? And not only that, you don't get paid for it.

Hell, it must be a labor of love.

(I'm twice as big a dummy, I guess. I do it two times a week.)

happy anniversary cec

let's see if we can make it another year

we might not be famous, but we are persistent

Your cecilism spirals downward for two lines before rebounding in the next glorious four. You have convinced me to be an optimist, at least for tonight.

Thanx, Cecil.

I got the attention span of a cat tonight. Just read through the opening and scrolled to the end looking for the image. I can't express in words what I have learned from your experiences. I trust you, there are many people here on S8 that i trust. But but I tell you this, fear does not destroy trust.

Happy Aniversity and thanks for the streams. Since I got thrown out of that quacker meeting I been desperate for your sunday streams.

Here is my hip shot, too wasted to work threw it all tonight. Bad shit been happening to me here on S8 compadre, but I tell you this all things work to the good for those that keep the faith.

here is the begining of the end of the begining of my ramble to this stream

Fear destroys trust
Ooh boy, I got to look that one over. Because I still got the fear on me from The Trickster. I am not quite an atheist cecil, I just can not come up with any words to describe G-D. Now the good book says we are made in HIS image. I wonder what that means. Is god bilateral. So anyway just rambling off the headers. I have not even finished reading the stream yet. Unfortuneately I will probably be back with more ramble. So the Book also says “the fear of god is the beginning of wisdow/knowledge? And too much knowledge makes for sorrow.
