Sunday Stream (69) ~ Ontological Orchestrations

Ontological Orchestrations
(in Be sharp)

Metaphysics: branch of philosophy concerned with the ultimate nature of existence. It perpetuates the Metaphysics of Aristotle, a collection of treatises placed after the Physics [Gr. meta-physics=after physics] and treating what Aristotle called the First Philosophy. The principal area of metaphysical speculation is generally called ontology and is the study of the ultimate nature of being.

Those last words, 'ultimate nature of being', resonate for me and I wonder why..? Why are some of us drawn to model railroading while another is drawn to becoming a doctor of veterinarian medicine? What is it about metaphysics that has pulled me in for so long?

The ultimate nature of being. I love saying that. Not reaching the end or attaining the egg of a golden goose, but the journey of discovery of what this life thing really is... and why it is... Most have little use for such time stealers... many quiet moments of deep thinking, observing, assimilating all to see if all the dots can be connected... weaving the blanket of understanding to warm us from the cold fear of not knowing.

Politicians don't have time or interest in those questions... neither do priests. Doctors, CEO's... they have different interests. The list of differences is as long as action itself.

But all these differences are what makes us one. One pulse in the universe, one nature, one being within one operating in a harmony that mind ceaselessly wants to understand. It's a love relationship that can transcend what we ever knew as reality. Nature of being. We all 'be'... buzzing around in search of some thing or things that we identify with... that we can connect to to further know our potential. We have all we need to know within to sculpt ourselves into what we shall become. It's a matter of acceptance of ourselves.

Accepting ourselves is so seemingly easy - just accept what we are. But mind has made it so complex... with our languages, our theories and philosophies, our interests, likes and dislikes, attachments and loneliness... we are complex and our complexities create levels of confusion and chaos as it does beauty and mystery in this life of duality. But there is a point within duality where perfect balance exists... the nature of all being, always present always here, now.

"How now brown cow..."

"How Now! brown cow."

'Now' is only the finger pointing... not what the finger is pointing at. To think about now is to leave the now. Now is not then, now is not when... not even Now is now for now has left Be hind. Now is word. Now is non-changing eternal presence... four words attempting to pacify mind to connect the dots leading to a place that is without beginning, without ending. Don't look for the word 'now' for that is illusion. Look through now to experience the presence residing within now. Use instinct, use surrender, use abandon, use trust to attain the infinite presence within reflecting through the prism of your authenticity to absorb your individuality - the nature of being

Nature is natural. It's within Nature to be. We are all Nature. We are all Being. Being is not all doing, but absorbing the energy of existence until enough energy ignites our awareness of understanding, accepting, becoming whole within the one where there is no finger pointing, no mind questioning, no leaders, no followers... only bliss of being - wholly holy.

in search for Nature of Being
Ego has to be crucified
Third Eye focused
upon the Now
to uncover the mystery
shrouded in illusion
to know the
original face.

Indeed, artguy, indeed. Deviation is the ultimate must in exploration.

Jack - you're too quick for me! And I thought you were old... Yeah, the name was changed shortly after posting. I have a pretty clean mind... I change it quite often.

not doing is important
but so also is the doing
to take those moments
and contemplate
to take the time to think
or not be thinking
it can rob you of doing
what you are thinking

sometimes I wonder (when I take the time)
what good is a wig on a pig?
why is a robin's egg blue?
where is the bus going?
when is lunch?

Other wise
I am doing not thinking
for thinking robs the nest
unsettles the mind
meditation: do-ing
koan: what good is a wig on a pig?
sometimes it is just not helpful...

help full
help mate
help me
Freedom's just another word...
