Each day is a search for meaning. Sleep alleviates the failure or softens the success.

Some live to eat. Some eat to live. Others live to eat to live. I count myself in the latter category.

What does that mean, "to live to eat to live"? For the rich, it means that a creme brulee waiting for you at the end of the day is a reason not to blow your brains out after teatime. For the poor, it means cold prayer to a loaf of bread and, occasionally, warm communion.
