Which is worse: being rejected or being ignored?

I'm interested.
I've been both.
My music has also been accepted, encouraged, and applauded - even envied, I'm told.
I recently got a pretty stinging rejection on the album I spent four years producing (gee-zus tears are coming to my pwecious widdle eyes), so I keep calling myself brave (applause, applause) for throwing it out there.
