Strange as it seems,
renew my subscription
to your magazine.
I’ll read it in bed
with the night light on,
before I go to sleep.

The cover will be
a good indication of
what I will see
after I open the rest of the book
and I take a look.

Then I’ll read the table of contents
to see what the good book holds.
And, if I find that the stories are good,
then the rest of the pages will unfold.

When I see my friend,
I’ll tell him about the beginning and end
and all of the things that I
read in my bed from your magazine.
