I've been wanting to write the songs & incidental music for a musical for some time now

I've decided on a project, a collaboration with my room-mate Jordan:

Fight Club: the Musical

It will be amazing, I can hear it already

oh my god, that's gonna be grand!

hey listen, i've been wanting to do a neo-punk adaptation of Faust and for this i need two songs....

in the beginning, he's a good christian boy in a good christian rock band (imagine for a moment that any such thing exists as a good christian rock band) and so they need a tune to jam about they good boy ways.

at the end, he's sold his soul to the devil, and he needs to strum out some acoustic ballad about the unrepentant loner path he's chosen. a kind of a 'every rose has it's thorn' type deal, if you can forgive the cheese...

whaddya think? got anything on the back burner?

hmm... Nothing comes to mind at the moment, but that doesn't mean it won't

Oh, and there were a few good Christian rock bands. They don't all suck

you're right, what i really meant was that he was in a "good Christian" rock band, but at first it seemed funnier the other way.

i guess there's Creed, but i only ever heard a few songs of theirs played to death (and perhaps also to resurrection?) on the radio.

KT says Black Sabbath were Christian rock, who might you suggest as a group who don't suck?

Creed does indeed suck

Good Christian rock bands...
Daniel Amos
Barnabas
Deliverance
Larry Norman
The Clergy

Sixpence None the Richer, but they weren't rock so much

good luck finding anything by these people
