All I see
when I look around me
nothing but conformity
ringing in my ears and eyes.
Everyone’s their own disguise.
What I see
don’t I know it frightens me.
Individuality
missing from the daily lives
of those who are
their own disguise.
What is wrong?
Why can no one get along?
If they were themselves, they’d find
they wouldn’t have to live in lies.
They won’t need
a false disguise.
