he was cut back to 2 days a week, called in sick this mawning, i did not know that, am off from my job fr a week, and step-kid went out this mawning with a friend to see about a job at a hotel on the beach, well enough, but most certainly was not sick....but anyhow was supposed to help out in the afternoon, boss neioghbor came over and asked for him, said about the sick call, told him kid was out to a beach hotel with a buddy....
the kid had all this cash, we tried to head him off from wasting it, he already has two guitars, it is a compulsive thing, now he is broke.
I recently cut him off from using my car. He'd go out late at nite, never offered me to pay gas money.
I was having nervous anxiety, it is my transport to work 25 miles away in Tampa.
Now I feel much better.
But this guy is such a slacker. Has three short term jobs in a year.
Just loves to party, watch basketball, plays some guitar.
Borrowed a tennis racket even from the neighbor to play tennis yesterday mawning with a sweeet female, the neighbor had to ask for it back this morning, his parting words, "
"He feels well enough to go out and play tennis, but not well enough to work, that's it."
Kid is still out this afternoon. I told my wife, briefly, over the telephone.
She said, that's Brian. His dad finally had to cut him off.
Been living with us for a year, down from Milwaukee.
Bright, charming, friendly, and completeky unable to take responsibility for himself.
Aks da boiotch, what am I to do?
I was down and out as a youth, asked for help, but immediately was into getting a job, even tho it was scary, hard, I was dirt poor, lived in shack rooms, etc, this kid has no conscience about that, is perfectly content to sit on the couch and smile.
