Ä guets neues = frohes neues jahr = happy new year !!!

Post by panta rhei » December 31st, 2004, 8:25 pm

here in switzerland, the new year is 90 minutes old by now -
we had snow (lots) and fireworks (little - most of the money was spent for the tsunami areas) and champagne (good one) and a funny game where we had to do things like shaping laughter or a navel or hope or a zipper out of clay, or drawing a mustache or sneezing with closed eyes, or do weird rhymes or anagrams, or spell backwards -

the new year started well and with friends and laughter.

the kids are still awake, and we're pleasantly drunk and smiling.

happy new year, everyone!

pleasantly buzzed on mushrooms coffee and "tea"
about five and a half hours to 2005 CST
tsunami areas
The US beurocrats catching flack because they did not call more countries and warn them, their excuse they did not not have enough phones. budget cuts to pay for the war and tax cuts for dirty dick and his crones.

Oh what's the use, tragedy reminds some that we have a fragile hold on this planet.

sorry for rant just wanted to wish you the best for 2005 CE, the common era, this
big green watery oily earth
we all in it together whether we all know it or not.

Happy New Year, Panta!

It's tough to celebrate with the enormous tsumani disaster....

I'm freaked about it...

But we shall try to think good thoughts

I thought you were in Germany!

Sounds like a terrific time with family and friends.

I'd love to know more about these games you played! :)

Happy New Year To You

Post by Sharon » January 1st, 2005, 3:50 am

We are about 15 minutes away from 2005, and all is relatively quiet here in Vancouver believe it or not. "First Night" the celebrations staged in many districts, towns, and on the Island are gearing more to raising funds for the tsumani disaster. Let's face it - it is really hard to celebrate this year. There were far too many people involved in a terrible disaster that somehow effected us all.

I would like to extend to you and yours and everyone here at Studio 8, a far better year for all of earth's children next year.
