Tree Haiku Jamboree

I had a really good time at the tree-ku jam although I am never sure (who is? ) if I do the jamming correctly or just tend to branch out on my own. The whole thing was right down this gal's alley and perhaps was planned that way (who know's? )

Laughing a lot today and thinking of the trees. Here are some I wrote for the jam that I was proud of:

whoa! That is haiku aplenty and I must admit to doing this for myself as I would like to save these all in one place.

I won't tell you which one of your haiku is my favorite. I will give you a hint.

Have you ever met anyone who snorts? I sort of chuckels through their nose. I very seldom snort, but one of your haiku made me almost snort. It would have been bad if I had breen drinking something when I read it. It would have been coming out of both my Nostrils. It was one you wrote when you and Cecil were swapping haiku together.

Haijin is a direct romanization of the Japanese word which originally meant "cripple", but was later adopted by the online gaming subculture, to describe gamers who spent so long playing that they were assumed to never venture out of the house. In other words, incapacitated, like a cripple.
Rick's such a haijin he got to level 70 in just two weeks.

I think it means to be something useful, helpful, I am dam sure been a haijin on S* these days.

dam I been saying that a lot, traveller started me saying that, like a flash back to the sixties. Wow. Words are contagious I guess.

I picked a tarot card on osho today, it was the cloud king control, I think osho needs a new deck or somebody dealing from the bottom. COntrol, out of control, got to work tomorrow. Doc says check back in six months, with a little luck I will live long enough to become an alcoholic.

Tee Hee! or should I say Tree Hee! Figures youse guys would like the one about the 'pecker'.

yes...haiku has become my nature. I almost can't help myself. I see the moon as haiku, the sunrise is hai, the birds all ku.

I also love discussing being hai. I miss the ku discussions that we used to have back in the golden days of the Kicks where ju, mt, Panta, Beth, Josh, Kevin and others too numerous to mention used to banter and ku to each other... I miss that a lot.

Pottygok (Josh) was a strict haijin and made me smile often. He didn't truck with my loose as a goose hai's but was always gentlemanly about it. We'd argue rules and regs and it was Hai (Fun).

I have always loved haiku and Paul Reps (asked one time what kind of Zen he adhered to replied, "Reps Zen!") and the rebel yell kind of ku. A whip Zen ku, if you will...sweet, distilled to the fine liquor-ish haiku.

A person getting enlightened is like the moon reflecting in the water. The moon does not get wet, the water is not disturbed. Though it is a great expanse of light, it reflects in a little bit of water; the whole moon and the whole sky reflect even in the dew on the grass; they reflect even in a single drop of water. Enlightenment not disturbing the person is like the moon not piercing the water. A person not obstructing enlightenment is like the dewdrop not obstructing the heavens.
