bicycle path
abandoned

missed connections
leaves me wondering
what everything is up to

cold morning
leaves me lingering inside
I used to stand and wonder

the final frontier

first booms of morning
dogs and crows respond
windows rattle

empty sky
sun on horizon
coyote is hungry

iron domes
and machines of loving grace
zap enemies from space




hoping and praying

upon the breeze
saxophone melodies
carry peace and safety
