the rains finally came a little bit
kitty licked the icecream bowl

quiet peacefull
just three of us
four dogs and a cat

me my sister and the "bear"
my brother in law
after all these years, friends

cool rainy morning
sunny afternoon
my favorite holiday

"to be thankful
is to pray"
I forgot who said that

glad you had
cat and dogs
peaceful holiday

the big pooh bear
six feet four one fist of iron
we been there years past

we mellow
with age
and brain tumours.

rain poured through wall
men sought simplified solutions
tribal drums went beyond

men sought fortress walls
sun still sets on masada
beyond tribal gods



from a cold morning
to a warm afternoon
thirty degrees just like that.

no more gobble
back to hot dogs djon mustard &
fresh horseraddish makes them paletable
