oh how do i wanna go
my last thoughts beyond comprehension the earth racing up t greet me with
terminal velocity
i think not
nor as target of a shot
no
i'd rather go
not distraught but
out
outside somewhere
where th birds can pick my bones.
not gasping for breath
emphezema breaths
pursed lips
with every exhale
to expand the alveolii
no not that
wanna go stealth dying
finding a final resting place
away and waining
death poems

maggots for my friends.

dead on the sidewalk
cupped in my hands

twenty bucks
in the land of plenty
when you're broke
a high utility
value what ya got
in a spot of a jam
damn broke.

saw this beggar
no spiritual mendicant
he was standin at the corner
on ramp to the freeway
with his begging sign
he looked so forlorn
an lonesome, I pulled out a five
and he smiled so nice
that the car in front did the same
a money jam
for the beggar man
smiling then, redemption,
validation.
