Pall Mall nights
I will quit when my wheeze comes back
so round so firm
I had to pick it up

not so much a new years resolution
as a life wish
I wish my words would stand

too lazy to paint
light upon water bottle
still life in real life

i was numb yesterday
i could feel my cells churning
I am a new man

too lazy to live
first day of winter
sunlight and calm

within the photo
hints and blatant truths
reminder to look

within 50 miles of me
no toads moving
snow

the rain stopped
but the sun still hides
gray eve

new day ahead
sounds, smells, visions, chances
ready and willing

gonna sing a few songs today
and strum my bass
like it was Christmas

bright steel cold
December day
in a winter of content

last night's buzz
this morning's sleepy eyes
mind lost in transit

Christmas has gone
the hype has fallen short
once again

space
in every direction
expand enjoyment
