movement behind the brush
two deer emerge
two deer emerge
the dog pulls on her leash
but does not bark
dog does not bark
perhaps sniffing the air
is enough

the ones drunk with new power
deduced the mind is easily programmed
by think tanks without empathy
their agenda has no concern for peace
our great country ( excluding the goverment)
must take care of their tribes
the media is complicit
all part or the flag waving that makes folks
feel patriotic without a single thought of their own
red vs blue
what a simple strategy, the old two party system, us vs. them
makes each side impotent, while empires laugh and grow stronger
