flashes her necklace of
planetary jewels

wolf moon howls
pearly whites gleaming
to light up the night

midnight pee
moonlight shows the way -
floorboards creak

I love all the creaks
this house is a living breathing entity
we share in making sounds

my weight makes sounds
me talking to myself too
and there is that washing machine

grumbling like an old codger
whose life is near the end
we have so much in common

furry housemate
took vocal exception
to the spin cycle
