--Anais Nin
I improvised, crazed by the music. . . . Even my teeth and eyes burned with fever. Each time I leaped I seemed to touch the sky and when I regained earth it seemed to be mine alone.
--Josephine Baker (1906-1975) French dancer
Where words fail, music speaks.
--Hans Christian Andersen (1805-1875) Danish short-story writer, poet

i wish i took this picture. that is a moment. that is a picutre of an emotion, of music, of aurally charged oxygen particles, caught hanging in the air, thickening it, smoking you out... it's like that moment at a concert one song after the crowd has worked up the collective inspiration to rush toward the stage, one song in, when everyone in the crowd begins to accept their close proximity to eachother, and everyone gets sweaty behind the knees, and you look around at the faces of your friends and your strangers, and you realize that things are about to get dirty... and you all just smile and raise your fists, clenched in victory, toward the stage.

I love the way you write. I bet you've a big set of balls on you, man!

this one is deliciously electric, ultra violet energy, sheer aura of anticipation, of music just waiting to be played, of sounds yet to be invented... so placid, and yet so plugged in...
