salt air
seeweed
winged rats
mind weed
sparying water
glowing creatures
naked bodies
moonlit features
nudie surfing
rocky shores
scavenging rats
fishing lures
sunset sex
dunken fire dances
acoustic hallucinations
knowing glances
home
sweet
neverlasting
home

as close as I ever get to feeling home. I worked high rise construction in Ocean City Maryland twenty two story pyramid shaped building right on the beach. The view out over the ocean almost brings tears to my eyes or maybe I am just bleary eyed from starring.

home is always the ocean
like a relic
overwhelmed in surf
negligent of tears
and foam exhausting acoustic
latent vandalism of surf and sound
an orgasm is thundering in the distance

Ah the orgasm of the ocean
the pounding of waves
salt water invading every pore
every opening
panting
heart beating
thrusting with the current of each wave
oh the orgasm in the ocean
yes
home

My home is the prairie
rolling grass, little hills
welcome streams, crossing forests
all the birds of the world
but the ocean
ah, the ocean
not the fishes, not the tall ships
not the creatures, not the surfers
or their lovely lanky hair
it's the ocean
as it orates, speaks it's verses
rhymes it's couplets
never matching, always changing
always crashing, sometimes bringing to us
fear and foam and fury
it's the ocean that I go to
when my prairie heart is at a stop
I need to rest, I need to know
the ocean is the place I go

Home on the range
the beach is endless
all the way to the west coast
water rationing raindrops
no see no sea

Sunsets are grand
through the dusty skies
beyond the clouds
an ocean dreams
