Living out in the desert
alone
with a young companion
walking spaces
gathering rocks and bones

where the sky is forever
the earth ancient
garlic in her garden
no fences
I dream I lived her life

I left New York
I left Stieg
he thought I was beautiful
but the sands were more so

I painted the sky through skulls
and live like a monk
simply
beautiful
