i am your puppet, suffocating under plastic wrap
here for your manipulating
and i see the way you're entertained
by my struggles to free myself, always unsuccessfully
from your recycled bag of vengance
how long have i been trapped in here?
i am aging at an accelerated rate
i was young when you first took
furtive control of my handles
feels like a hundred years have passed
from my birth to my being placed here in storage
it's dark in here and i can't see
it's been so long since i've been taken out of this closet
that i can't tell if i still have my own eyes or not
or if you've replaced them, too.
