exhaling

Black lung exhaling
death purged germs explode
into atmospheric chaos.
If we could only see the beauty
in exhaled death
we might see a pattern
to life without living.

sorry beauty brings out my morbidity

its me

life exhaled
offers breath
to a realm
that only now
begins to reveal
itself

i exhaled
deeper and further
and moreso and more
to a time before time
to an age before yore
to a place where the sun
neither heats nor lights
to a condition wherein i could finally
breathe you in
pure.

uncut pure
breathing in and out rapidly
from death to life
return trip guaranteed
exhale the pugent air
and breathe easier
next time around.

out in gusts of cleanse
all my yesterdays
volatile conclusions

exhalations out out
as sweet raw air finds a vacancy
painting the walls afresh

Breathing in
I receive the gift of life

Breathing out
I give thanks for the gift of life
