consumer cofidence is down
time to head for the mall
put my money where my heart is
Homo economicus
$ is the measure of all things
Judeo Christian ethics
A price on everything

His head is missing
where could it be?
Lets look in his rectum

maxed as a credit predation
taut as the interest rate
sinews tightened in
an uphill shopping spree
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

The Poet's Eye

I don't care that the money is no good
but they should never have taken the very best
I grew up with memories of the Wiemar republic
people taking wheel barrows of money to buy a loaf of bread
of all our fears
the bankers in in 1929 telling us the economy is fundamentaly sound
the buzz word I hear from the German elections is
STABILITY
I hear it from South America
From asia
Where can I get a job
Talk about conspiracy theories
Tax cuts and wars
pulling the rug out from under the working poor
Working for the...
drinking rum and coca cola
just don't understand economics
the theory of the leisure class
Veblen and Debs my heroes
I wanted to rise with the masses
not from them
now I got my wish
but we are all sinking in a sea of compassionate conservatism
he wants to break the bank
we wants the US to go broke
it makes his base stronger
the put the poor under their thumb
rant rant rant

I see a little head and a three line face
I see a big twisted torso
without arms

yes
I saw red
I went with the title not the image
I saw devils
and the little white hand, I missed that too.

just a hip shot
I wish I had taken more time to study the image not just react to the word capitalist.

free market system
a dam good joke if you ask me
a great leveling
a lowest common denominator
a reality check for america
corporate realities coming home to roost
I wish the hell I knew what I was talking about

The price of freedom for the few:
Having to take the blame for the loss of
Two arms and both legs of another human
Protecting and serving for freedom they’ll never
See anything but the bombs exploding and
Chucks of charred meat on urban style BDUs
If they live to remember
The cost of the rich mans dream
How many of the manys arms, legs, lives, doe’s it take to buy the world?
