a wonderful fruit is the jalapeno
it's live and full of zest
it can pain you greatly going in
but coming out it's really a pest

you may joke of burning exits
but still the glory of ingestion!
that luscious pepper begs it

yes I can jest about injestion
or digress about digestion
but what goes in must certainly
come out without a question

a limerick by any other name
would surely smell as sweet
a pepper, nay, garlic
will surely reek complete
