Distortion as a Playground for Reality

Post by mtmynd » April 26th, 2005, 8:17 pm

i've antiquated myself
lost in neanderthal mist
seeking trails of iris blooms

i've succumbed to bedrock
my drill of expectations
dulled from non-experience

i've lurched off ancient cliffs
into pools of shadowed remorse
grabbing at darkness deep

i once treasured the sublime
that resided outside my reach
anticipating what may become

but the fever sun burns
the fever sun burns
fever sun burns
tattooing void
upon the future
of all things once and never

i talk of past
i walk to when
i fuck my self
under the wax
of dreams melting

extinguishing all that
interferes with light -
shadows are inconsistent
realities of distorted truth

interpretation:

this is a dead end review
life's been out teasing me and i've hit the end of a stone path
the wall of rock is irrefutable

i played with dreams, adventures, futures
and now is now
and here i am.

that is my interpretation.

Judih - I like that. It's very concise.
