Day 2. Morning rays too bright
through blinds, a 2 hour ride,
a wait for a plane 2 hours late,
a midnight thundershower,
my baby home, dawn comes soon
and sleep I must. What do you do
when Day 2 turns into Day 3,
Day 1 gone into a fog?

It rains on me
Must go back to work
To live free
To make
Tons of money

fruits in summer
(even though you put them inside the fridge)
could be the sweetest
or the more putrid
things in the world
