February Duet - doreen & judih

How grey affects my view of life –
moss adhered to rock and shale.
Green takes on tumultous power,
fern spent by fervent frail moments.
Blue ices into sapphire haze.
Raise the sound of February!
Release doubt! Take a back seat...
Crawl through grasses,
swiftly sleeping days
aloft upon daydreams,
smuggling hopes,
unearthing secrets!
May may make an entrance, true,
like an off-stage girl, diligent, abloom!
Still February
hushes the room
Shhhh!
Hush!
The room heaves in wait ...
rumours of approaching spring.
Curtains rustle sweet.
Excitement dares to rear
her adrenalized mind.
Tensions unwind.
Could it be?
Could it be....
moss adhered to rock and shale.
Green takes on tumultous power,
fern spent by fervent frail moments.
Blue ices into sapphire haze.
Raise the sound of February!
Release doubt! Take a back seat...
Crawl through grasses,
swiftly sleeping days
aloft upon daydreams,
smuggling hopes,
unearthing secrets!
May may make an entrance, true,
like an off-stage girl, diligent, abloom!
Still February
hushes the room
Shhhh!
Hush!
The room heaves in wait ...
rumours of approaching spring.
Curtains rustle sweet.
Excitement dares to rear
her adrenalized mind.
Tensions unwind.
Could it be?
Could it be....
