First ever Duet Jam - duet feat. judih & doreen

Post by judih » March 3rd, 2006, 2:30 pm

if i throw the sound of something
into a crypt
will the sound waken the dead?

hello in there
i see you breathing
you sound like a drowned dream screaming

you can throw me in a coffin,
throw dirt on top of my eyes,
bury me up to my neck
with regret and all that
signifies

but while i am breathing
i hope you hear me scream...
'cause i'm stuck inside this
nightmare
of a dream

will it waken the dead?

hello
in there - i see you
breathing like a drowned dream screaming

you can throw me in a coffin,
throw dirt on my eyes,
bury me up to my neck
with regret and all it
signifies

but while i'm still breathing
hear me scream...
stuck inside this
nightmare of a dream

strange grunts emerge from the soil
a coffinless cough
a voiceless viscious wail

all sways, in acid rousseau motif
the sound, the earth,
impossible connection

life, you are sentenced to death

life speaks
life repeats

i have exhaled my last breath
for dignity's sake, an eruption
from beneath the earth.

i will not be held down.
i will emerge as flower stem.
i will become fertility.
i will push away dirt
for new roots to grow.

i will show
death a thing or two!

no crypt can hold me!
no coffin contain my energy

life speaks
life repeats

this dead woman is one coffin fool
corpse to corpse in echo chambers
respiration is one breath away

i lit a coffin stick
blew smoke in
my own eyes
hacked my way
through another
pack of damage

my lungs and liver
are racing to the finish
line

who's gonna win?
who's gonna lose?

pass the eucalyptus
and my old soft shoes
might as well suck
on something smooth
and dance my way
to the grave

pass the tea and
honey save
me

honey talks sweet
but sage knows what's what
unlike unlit sticks
no burnt toast make

(for goodness sake, the tale scorches my lung)

i'm off to clover and blossom
reincarnation
will call in the morning

take five! –
take two
for me
three for you.

call me
when you're
resurrected
and we'll
renew
energy
and wonder!

keep the coffin
quiet. it can rattle
with a racket
of thunder.

lock the lid.
go to bed.
tomorrow, the
reincarnation.
