XIX century literary birds dying
and you say that Nicaragua is still a safe place
deserted tracks convergence
fifth floor view
under the morning glow
insistent beauty of useless things
& two more floors
to reach the souvenirs

treasure chest lies empty
except the echoes of paperback dreams
one too many in the sands of time
long corridors where the rain comes in
there are no windows to open

paper-bound-aerobic reality
the islands, so near
the river, more complex

the depth of portions held back
regret swims against the tide
the farther i climb...
the roof crackles with thunder

clean lungs
and high speed
Nicaragua warm lakes
maybe boats make the river move
concrete construction
dynamite couldn´t bite it

to beach myself on white sands
sublimely bake in the sun of the gods
the wind out of season brings sanity
a sensation of red in the forgotten eye
abandon the shallow streams of the night
cling to the wings of the shapeshifter
the morphing begins at dawn

deep course of water
sand grains between the book´s pages
mistery of colors

pondering the end
to begin a new beginning
painting dark walls of clouds
the portal of changes to come
after skipping stones across the water
scented in dreams with Jasmine
the sleep of remembrance...
deeply embedded
