welcome, Bambi! I'll duet with you!
you said the word and i wanted to...
__________

i'll start ok? - Let's write a ballad, wanna? A story in verse.
__________

Lola treaded on the surface of a memory lag,
her legs in flail, her arms treading waves.
She was a watered down drowning maiden
wishing to be saved. Attention was what
she craved.

Not many knew Lola didn't know how to swim.
Then one afternoon, she caught an eye of him!

Big Bobby Benson stood at the side of the lake.
She was on her back floating, taking a break.
All it took was an over-the-shoulder glance.
Bib Bobby knew it was his perfect chance.

Big Bobby knew it was his perfect chance.

Wailing and flailing, Lola cried out
beseeching the shoreline
to rescue or snatch
Bobby, alerted,
though seeing the guise
chose to play the part
and donned his disguise.

Acting the hero, ole Bobby swam out
Lola, meanwhile,
began another drowning bout
Bobby, thus hearing her
feeble, petite shouts
redoubled his efforts
without a doubt.
