Shiney bright flashes of thought
catch my imagination
my pen runs the marathon
to get the words racing
mental excitation
and another rhyme
drops from my mind.

I can't dance
my dsl bogged down waiting for LR's IPOD $4 to load

rivers
it is going to be a fine night for a river walk
ride the river of lights

spring comes and goes in a heart beat down here near the heart of texas, I missed a perfect day

evening now, a beautiful evening

by the end of the month it will be a tropical summer again. Like living on the bottom of an invisibel sea of moist air.

Dust and humidity
wasn't for me
so I left Texas for the Northwest.
Rain Rain everyday
but here I will stay.

Texas is beautiful in the spring
flowers and cactus green.
I lived in Salado and that Temple town
watching a Texas sun go down
sure is beautiful though,
but that you all ready know.

a coward dies a thousand deaths
on those Mountain passes in winter.
I am from maryland, just a flat lander, the eastern seaboard is my natural home

Just a flat lander never could adust to the those "hills" in the great north west.

This internet a metaphor for the home I lost. A river of lights from the docks in New Jersey The docks on the columbia river.

God all mighty what a river.

Worked on a trawler, a shrimper out of Ilwaco. Out for three days no showers. Coming in to Astoria smelling like a dead shrimp. Jumped into the river to wash myself off.

Scared, I have never felt a current that strong.

hanging on for dear life

I been planing on moving down to the coast.

They say an old man should remove himself from society in old age, Find his heart cave and live a monks life. I am looking for my cave, over looking the ocean

I am old

but I am happy

You love the dark side
I live the light
Life against death
and when we back off far enough
we see it is all right

light and dark a continuim

What is the darkest dark you have ever seen

complete darkness

I have friends from the military who told me the jungle is as dark as it gets

for me it was a basement in baltimore.

after hours of sitting in complete darkness with my fearful childs imagaination running wild.

These days must be frightning for children

My darkest hour was chasing dragons
in a small town in arkansas
they don't play
spilled blood the grim reaper laughing
but I had the last laugh
and still laughing.
Darkness is the plalce
I see the light of truth plainly
where lessons are learned for a lifetime
where I grow spiritually
in my old age.
I find my youth returning,
the belief that anything is possible
and black can be white if you believe.
I found my metaphorical cave in Dandy's arms
warm and inviting,
for an old drug dealer I got pretty damn lucky,
and I am thankful for the turn around.
Here's wishing you find a happy cave
where dreams come true
and a happy loving heart warms if for you.

taking the hai road
life is sweet
I am complete

I go my own way
Longing for a ocean home
just more desire
more suffering
The southern pacific fills my dreams

If I cant be happy here I wont be happy anywhere
Thanks for warm best wishes
I remember now, heart is where the home is
This is all holly ground
where ever I stand
I love boundary conditions
where mountains touch sky
wehre land meets water
(Douglass Adams ripped off from)
Here I have where rail road tracks intersect my bed room. Good enough

But I am still a liar, dam I miss the sea. Going to move down to the third coast the soon I hope.

Not much blood shed in my family, not that kind of insanity.

t
hey don't play
spilled blood the grim reaper laughing
I have left a trail of my own blood from Baltimore to Astoria. Never tried to get even,. Spent a night of murdrous thoughts, not just passing thoughts but dead serious thinking about killing someone, not just killing them but killing them quick with no muss no fuss. I never platted a get away. I was pretty crazy, just figured I would get caught, spend my life behind bars or worse. In the morning light I realized it was just karma. Not worth the price of more bloody karma. But that was me, and you are you. All that matters is I am happy you have found each other.

I am very happy to be breathing.
