Not a vacation spot
Just a little place that I go to to get away from it all now and then
We all have a place that secert get away that we go to escape the rigors of life

that solitary get away
to rub away
to ease away
the ache of day
a mini vacation
daily taken
a trip of survival

song of life
song of giving
songs so healing
a special hide away
to chase away the day
take in, breath in

We shall drown our tears together
allowing pasts around our feet to gather
and wash away down the stream
as we proceed to live our dreams
in silent contemplation

leaning perhaps
shoulders touching from time to time
allowing our warmth to mingle with our tears
as our secret dreams
hopes
wishes
longings drift outward to play upon the waters
moving through woods
lightly over grasses
intermingling with each others
so that in the end
we no longer know or care which was yours
or mine

My get away
put me on a highway
Been so long since I cried
I think I must have died
The best I can do these days is a tear drop or two
A drop in the ocean
