A trek to the other side.
Sand between my toes.
Oasis beyond.

five p.m. driving past the sea
how fast the scenery changes
so, till we leave the dunes, we memorize their sound

the sound of dunes:
the traces of wind
and feet
and wheels
and time
written on their
sheet of music

Mars surface...........tracks of trekking humans
mars seems like home
Yes “blood encrusted Mars”
Western Mythology 101
Even blind Homer could see it.

Mediterranean Sky so alien to me
But the sound of the wind in the dunes
Is home to me. and the lullaby of
“A whispering murmuring tumbling sea”
is music to my heart

The sands of time
got in my eye
I gritted it out
half blind
stumbled in to a rhyme
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

I stumble on a meaning

walking in a coastal forest

The Cedars of Lebanon

They still exist in a tiny sacred grove

And they put them all in a museum

aint it true you dont know what you got till its gone

joni mitchel kind of day.
