we hurtle through space

caught up in the realities
Mortgages, car loans, taxes

time out for the human race
take us back to our roots

gathered around small fires
when the moon sun and stars
still kept time for us

a good morning to
rise and shine

small fires
that connect us
to the stars
far away and
deep
inside ourselves

A life lived well
is
well
a well lived life
deep
fulfilling
emptying
refilling
makes travelling home
so much more sweet
