I get impatient with it. Still screwing around with it. Doreen posted some code for me that has helped me some.

I wish I could figure out how to use the search button on the S8 tool bar. I get way to many hits. about 1500 on my last search.

I would appreciate any tips

put search terms in quotes. that helps a lot - any search term that is more than one word, if you're searching for something that has that term as consecutive words, put it in quotes.

if i wanted to search for that paragraph, instead of searching for:

search terms quotes

i'd search for

"search terms in quotes"

also, use the advanced search - it probably lets you confine your search to a certain board and a fixed timeframe.

I knew about the quotes but when I use it on google I always get zero hits.
