Emily Brontë & Alan Watts (reposted)

Post by Arcadia » September 26th, 2005, 8:40 pm

let´s see: page 123 of Cumbres Borrascosas, illness was really an art before the XX century... (I thought that early in the afternoon, I have to continue reading the novel).
my lacanian friend Alicia lent to me two Watts books that she promised me some months ago: Become what you are and Talking Zen. I only zap them, I guess I´ll like them.

Watts is a riot. his books are okay but his audio recordings of lectures are better.

regarding Lacaniennes,
check out www.lacan.com which is a fascinating, though somewhat of a cult, website.
I don't think 'Therefore, I am.' Therefore, I am.

hi e_dog!

Watts is a riot. Watts es una pelea. Peculiar expression!

his books are okay but his audio recordings of lectures are better.

are the audio recordings desgrabadas and written? (it´s the only option to know them someday, I can´t understand spoken english fluently)

thanks for the lacan link! I´ll spend some time there and I´ll pass it to Alicia.

saludos,

Arcadia
