I haven't gotten a chance to watch a bunch, but I saw the Jean Genet, and half of the David Wojnarowicz.
The Jean Genet was Un Chant d'Amour from 1950. Its a love story set in a men's prison, and originally intended to be a porn film. Banned due to explicit homosexual content, though the genitalia probably didn't help either.
Wojnarowicz's is Where Evil Dwells, from 1985. I fell asleep halfway through, not due to the film, but because I was just tired. I think the best word to describe it would be disturbing.
I'm going to half to set a time to watch more, as there are several of my favourite artists represented here.

Interesting film. I like that idea that sound is an aesthetical error in filmmaking, making it harder to pay attention to the visuals, thus detracting from the main focus of film; pictures.
