I listened to him today reading what he called something like "Spanish poetry project" -I don´t remember the title but it has "spanish" in it-. A serie of poems written in english but inspired in spanish authors, climas or words. He said he felt free to be more "lyrical" under that title.. I don´t know why but I wasn´t impress by the poems even though I understood them without spanish translation.
He also talked about what he defines the two lines? in nowadays northamerican poetry: the poets of language and the performance poets.
There were problems with the translator -for me he was drunk- some people get a bit molested and shouted things as "If there aren´t a translation don´t talk". But the poet showed an inmutable correct face and tone all the time.
