The Thanatos Syndrome. It made the news last week. Article about the pharmaceuticals in our drinking water.

I checked it out and got about eighty pages into the novel before I had to return it to the library.

That newspaper story about the drinking water said Percy's novel was life imitating art. Or something like that. Pretty scary stuff for me. But it was/is a slow read book.

Slow going read I will have to check it out again, as soon as I get my hands on twenty cents so I can pay the over due fine on it.

Probably

Or I might check out Haruki Murakami instead.

Right now I need a I.B. Singer reading experience. Something I can race through and devour slowing down only to let the wonder the enjoyment, the pleasure of reading it linger. Like sipping on the last glassful of a fine wine or the last swallow of a nehi grape soda, a last chapter a last line.

hmmm
