Is There a Movie That Changed Your Life?
all films have changed my life in a (let´s call it) non-fixing way!! I just saw in Literatura Iberoamericana II today at 2 pm in vhs format in a super overcrowded salón with closed windows (becacause the arts school remodelation) and ventilators (because the extended summer) and with at lot of interruptions presumiblemente because the dirty videocasetera or the age of the tape Paul Leduc´s "Barroco". It was great!, try it, you would probably like it!!!

I'm still grappling with this topic and getting nowhere. I even asked Soo and Cactus Mary the same question and both them shrugged... could not say any movie that they felt changed their lives. But that NPR interview sure had some folks that were positive movies changed their lives... maybe that's why there's a book... unusual. Heck, I don't know, amigo.I also think the movies have changed us all. Some of us more permanently than others.
How about music? Music changes people's lives, well some people anyway. So did the automatic clothes washer and drier, but I don't think that would make for an interesting book. How about the internet? Now that has changed the world in ways that we still can't completely comprehend as it just keeps exploding outward like the universe... the universal internet that began with a big bang (?).

Today, I reached that conclusion - grappling is not the way to find an answer. Indeed, it is not important.. so many other things to dwell upon, so many...
((pssst! hey! do you have hearing difficulties, truck?))

That I can fully comprehend...And when I learn, I think that changes me.

1972 college park maryland I had a roommate the phrase is from him, it was from a text book they were using in the honors program in the psych department or maybe it was anthropolgy.
Levi-Straus structuralism are other ghostly terms appear and float above the event horizion of remote consciousness.
I googled it when I thought of it and found a lot of links to new age stuff. spiritualism and such which was not what I thought.

I think that is the holy grail to live an unmediated life, to live a life of ones own, Joe Campbell said. Or a wheel rolling free out of its own center.
Arcadia I forgot to thank you for your reply.
