2005 looks to be an interesting year of "high concept" films. We can look forward to Adam Sandler in "The Moe Howard Story"; Paris Hilton has teamed up with Scooby Doo for the upcoming "Doghouse"; De Niro and Pacino are back together for "Two Gentlemen from Barone's" an interesting take on the Shakespeare classic, set in a modern pizza parlor.
Ian McKlellan will be also offering up some Bard this year when he plays Beatrice to Anne Heche's Benedict in "Much Ado". Diane Keaton is rumored to be doing a small scale, feminist-oriented movie, "Everreadies," a paean to solitude.
Nic Cage is teamed up with Jack Nicholson for an interesting picture: "Red: Skelton and Buttons," a charming homage to the two great comics. Kelsey Grammer, with Kirstie Alley, will be doing a remake of Ozzie and Harriet, and word is Kelsey also has plans for a Bob Hope-inspired musical, "On the Road to Canberra." The Wayan Brothers will be joining forces with SnoopDogg and other hiphop greats for "Pimpmaster of Disaster", in which the homies open up a brothel in Compton and stock it full of aging hollywood actresses.
Ben Stiller will be playing Tevya in "Fiddler on the Roof of Jerry's Deli" an interesting update of the classic play. Chevy Chase is scheduled to try his hand at a drama, "Atascadero", and Quentin Tarentino is rumored to be making a mobster-inspired flick, "My Bunkie, Sam Giancana."

Aw, Martha Stewart, yes. Imagine her show "Living," broadcast from her present residence: Martha Stewart's "FED Living." Fun craft projects inside, such as "Crafting a Holiday Candle for You and your Bunky with State-issued Soap....." (ok, so it's not Moliere)

As a Caliphornian, Zlatski, do you often feel that our State is controlled by a nearly psychotic muscleman-clown and his cronies whose understanding of politics is a bit poorer than that of a high school student in a civics class? We oughta mock and ridicule this stooge 24/7:

Yes, the Recall amply demonstrated that. Instead of Davis, who, though flawed, was a reasonable person with some good ideas, we have a cartoon nightmare. Voting is a farce. I hate to sound like the burgeoning conservative curmudgeon I never wanted to be, but I think it may be safely argued that voting be restricted to those people, well, who can read the ballot. Poll tests are not a bad idea, even considered from the leftist perspective; might keep the Walmart patriots out of there. . Dems ought to argue for education requirements for politicians as well; that might have prevented Ahh-nuld from taking control of the State, as if he was the baddest dude on Venice beach....
