When Einstein was trying to get citizenship during the McCarthy era some congressman wanted to know if he was an atheist. We don't need no stinking atheists, thank you very much.

Einstein answered the congressman's question by saying he believed in god, he believed in Spinoza's god.

You'd like this book *very* much, Jack.

She interviews a variety of people who are both scientists (theoretical physicists, biologists, etc) and philosophers, all who express their in depth examination of both science and religion... the universe... the human condition... so-called "reality" ... I'm so much enjoying this book I keep skipping from interview to interview instead of reading it straight through.

I'll probably read this several times.

You'd really like this book. I know it.
