I got through War and Peace last year...just got a copy of Anna Karanina from amazon...love the detail with which he goes into about Russian culture and society. Tolstoy was the first in Russia to set up a school fro peasants.

good for you, War & Peace. I have only read Crime & Punishment. I need to read mo re of this guy.
