March films

Post by Arcadia » March 27th, 2011, 11:06 am

march´s films I´ve seen... the last one is already unseen, I plan to see "Cuento chino" this week or maybe the other, so maybe it will be an april´s film... :)

"The true grit": it´s a mix of the Ingalls, the texan-like tv series we saw here in the seventies, some anonimous western, Louisa May Alcott & Jane Austen but damn.... she got a gun...!!!!

"La mirada invisible": the Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires panoptic working in 1982... meanwhile "el pueblo haciendo masa en la plaza como aquella vez"... sad, sadic and at the same time lighting story..... long live rock & roll!!!!

"The king´s speech": sad that he did all that work with his voice to read a war declaration... it make me wonder where and why nowadays someone could believe and being moved by such words... I guess context is everything!. I specially liked the "language therapist" personaje & actor, damn fonaudiologists...!!
