I been thinking about voting for the Mormbot for President. The United States of America, you just can't live here without a Russian sense of humor.

As much as i love his music, I have been to a coupla conserts with the Bob. it wont happen again. I am also a bit sceptical to whatever he decides to put out there. So now I am served a Dylanesque-link, Theres no gettn away. and the link works...

Some people can not abide the sound of recorded music. I have not seen anyone in concert in a long long time, 1976 I think I saw the Dead in Nashville TN.

I know nothing about music,
I just like the noise it makes
I am tune deaf and tone deaf, but I am a lyrics freak. Dylan still has a way with words I think.
All the early Roman kings
In their shark skin suits
Bow ties and buttons
High top boots

Drivin' the spikes in *
Blazin' the rails
Nailed in their coffins
Top hats and tails
Fly away over
Fly away flap your wings
Fly by night
[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsfreak.com/b/bob+dylan/ ... 29088.html ]
Like the early Roman kings
They're peddlers and they're meddlers
They buy and they sell
They destroyed your city
They'll destroy you as well
They're lecherous and treacherous
A-Hell bent for leather *
Each of 'em bigger
Than all men put together
Sluggers and muggers
Wearin fancy gold rings
All the women going crazy
For the early Roman kings
This guy writes good lyrics too I think.

I once met a guy who was trying to change his chromosomes. He said death lizards from out space were after him to do it. I know how he felt it. I would like to be more mellow in my old age.

Sad Luck Dame makes me feel lucky

Fry Write
Trial by Knight
Yes I was a word kook from the git go and
In the beginning was the word
and the word was Thunderbird

a mad boy's love song.
later I learned the death lizards had got him and I started reading A Book (the savage god) that had a painting by Paul Klee on the cover.

"listen to the music" Kurt Vonnegut

probably my favorite lyrics by john prine
Sabu Visits The Twin Cities Alone

The movie wasn't really doing so hot
said the new producer to the old big shot
its dying on the edge of the great Midwest
Sabu must tour or forever rest.

Hey look ma
here comes the elephant boy
bundled all up in his corduroy
headed down south towards Illinois
from the jungles of East St. Paul.

His manager sat in the office alone
staring at the numbers on the telephone
wondering how a man could send a child actor
to visit in the land of the wind chill factor.
Sabu was sad the whole tour stunk
the airlines lost the elephant's trunk
the roadie got the rabies and the scabies and the flu
they was low on morale but they was high on.

I can imagine Lisa Simpson stumbling on Plath in some junior high school library. Will she put her down as a failed feminist, a prot-feminist. :?:
